Designer Swarovski Crystal Swimsuit
Just before the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008, Chinese designer Huang Yinyun and Hong Kong swimsuit brand Hosa launched a unique and very special swimsuit. Modelled by top Chinese model Mo Wandan, the one-of-a-kind swimsuit is valued at a staggering $120,000!
It's a stunning swimsuit with Swarovski crystals forming a honeycomb appearance over the swimwear. As it's one of a kind they've made an application for it to be entered into the Guinness Book of World Records!
There is a slight problem with this suit and that is that it needs to be kept at a certain temperature to keep the crystals affixed. That means that it is not that well suited to being used in the sea or swimming pools so for $120,000 you end up with something that can't actually be used for what it was designed to do.
That said, would you want to wear this? If we had one we'd stare at it all day long as it is really gorgeous. We are aware the model isn't supplied with it :-)
