What Happens When You Mix LEGO And Swarovski Crystals?

Many thought it could not be done but alas, Cimon of Hudson Valley, New York has created two masterpieces, from an estimated total of eight, that fuse the two together into an artistic masterpiece.

 Finding Love In Unexpected Places

The structures are first constructed using LEGO bricks and are then painted into a variety of bold and unusual colours not normally found within the standard LEGO colour palette.

Then, loads of gorgeous Swarovski crystals are meticulously applied by hand to the artwork, giving the pieces a new and unusual depth.

"Love to the Rescue" features a damsel in distress, with her knight in shing armour battling with a fire breathing dragon in order to save her. This is a colourful and evocative piece based on a classic tale and features 850 individual crystals.

"Finding Love in Unexpected Places" is more industrial and features an excavator that has struck upon love in the form of 1,500 vibrant red Swarovski gems. These perfectly contrast the shiny silver used in the remainder of the piece.

We prefer the more industrial piece, perhaps due to the powerful colour contrast between silver and red. Nevertheless, both pieces are very creative and we look forward to seeing more!
