Our Favourite Swarovski Christmas Ornament for 2012

It's a hard life drooling over thousands of gorgeous products featuring twinkling Swarovski crystal but someone has to do it, and we really don't mind either! We've got a soft spot for plenty of pieces in the Swarovski collection but one item in particular from the Christmas range for 2012 has captured our hearts.

Swarovski Poinsettia, Large (1139997)

We had been teetering on buying the original Swarovski Poinsettia ornament but this particular version of a quintessentially festive plant is larger and thus features more intricate and exquisite detailing.

The piece makes use of clear crystal for the flowerpot as well as the floral stems, Light Siam red crystal for the beautiful flowers, Peridot green crystal for the leaves and golden Light Topaz crystal to accentuate the centres of the flowers. Silver toned metal decorates the rim of the pot and the bud of the flowers. Designer Keiko Arai was very generous with the proportions of this ornament as it measures approximately 8.4cm x 7.9cm.

We hope this piece remains available for many years to come as with the original ornament as they are both timeless classics. We can't wait to proudly display this piece at Christmas and might keep it on display all year around. We love it that much!
