MSC Cruises Swarovski Staircases
I absolutely love cruise ship holidays and there's a cruise line I am eager to try out, not least to see the beautiful Swarovski staircases.
Hopefully I can get on-board and check these out first hand as the photo looks amazing. MSC Cruises are renowned for offering Italian style cruising and their ships are decorated in a Mediterranean style. The Swarovski staircases therefore go hand in hand with the style and so look stunning. There are two varieties across the fleet too - there's a silver staircase with clear crystals and a golden staircase with either what looks like golden shaded crystals or clear crystals on a golden background.
According to MSC Cruises the Swarovski spiral staircase in the Concierge Reception of the MSC Yacht Club on the Fantasia class ships (including MSC Fantasia, MSC Preziosa, MSC Splendida and MSC Davina as far as I can see) is made up of 16 solid glass steps, each containing between 45 and 50 genuine Swarovski crystals. That totals almost 800 crystals per staircase!
If ever you needed an excuse to try a cruise ship holiday then this surely has to be it!
